| On a beautiful cool, clear winter morning African Rail & Traction Services no. 053 crosses the Hex River with a train of loaded hoppers, heading to the processing plant at Waterval, while a minibus taxi follows the train on the road bridge below. No. 053 is an ex- CFM (Mozambique) GE (Brazil) U20C on hire to Anglo Platinum and operating on their Rustenburg Platinum Mines system. |
