The tail end of an Amtrak Metroliner car whips around the super elevated curve at Claymont, DE en route to Philadelphia, PA. Long gone are the wood ties and jointed rail as seen in Don Oltmann's photo from 1979. At this very same spot, photographer and PS wizard, Bob Lyndall was fortunate to catch both Thomas and Sierra Railway #3, as seen in the respective photos.
