The iconic Delaware, Lackawanna & Western #952 4-4-0 Camelback.
Making it's long overdue appearance on RP, this engine was built by Alco in 1905 and has quite a storied past. DL&W donated the engine to the Railway & Historical Society in 1939. They in turn offered it as a loan in 1952 to the Museum of Transportation in St. Louis, MO. The society later donated to it's Lackawanna Chapter in 1999 but efforts to bring her back or even trade her for an engine at Steamtown failed. So, she remains, on permanent loan, though beautifully restored as one of only two surviving DL&W steam engines.
