One of the 40 inside-cylinder 4-6-4Ts built by Beyer, Peacock & Co ., in Manchester, England for the Dutch State Railways in 1913-16 departs from Rotterdam with the 10.41 train to Rosendaal. Fourteen of these locos were never delivered to The Netherlands and were taken over by the Railway Operating Division (ROD) of the Royal Engineers for service on the Western Front in World War I.
