This typically long train has BNSF ES44AC 7916 on the headend - power is distributed two in front, and two on the rear. After threading it's way through the Los Angeles basin, this train (34 rail cars, 280 containers [26 20’, 243 40’, 11 45’] for 8085 feet [including power] and 6588 tons) will be speeding across the southwestern desert within a few hours.
