| Former Chattanooga Traction Company SW1 #4 poses beside a Southern Rwy boxcar near Downtown Knoxville. SW1 #4 and Southern-painted SW1 #1007 will both be used in a Vintage Diesel Railfan Photo Day being hosted by the Three Rivers Rambler and the Knoxville & Holston River Railroad which is set to take place on November 20, 2011. If anyone is interested in joining us for that event, please contact me directly (using the "contact photographer" link on this page). This will be a rare opportunity to see two operating 1940's era EMD SW1s together, both painted in their as-delivered paint schemes. |
