Remarks & Notes |
"Iron dog" crossing? This old "dog" still looks good after many years in service while sporting CSX's YN3 paint scheme, which I believe is the first time it's been seen on RP. The "cyclops" crossing signal the train is about to pass originally protected a bike path that paralleled I-275 (in the background) on the west side of Detroit. Much of the path is grown over and hasn't been used for decades, but this unique crossing signal still remains active, although the flashing white "STOP" was very faint from my vantage point. |
