Foggy East Broad Top: The Sand House. With her tender tank completely filled, EBT's lone operational Mike backs away from the standpipe toward the south yard, where she'll switch onto the main line and pick up her first train. The structure she's passing in this shot is the line's sand house, which was used to fill the locomotive's sand domes. EBT is fortunate to have a very active "Friends" organization (FEBT), and that group has done significant restoration on this building over the past couple of years.
