Silverton Departure. Conductor George Swift is silhouetted against a cloud of steam as he watches his Durango-bound passenger extra switch onto the main line at Silverton Depot. The power today is the 1875-vintage Eureka & Palisade #4, with Engineer George Sapp providing the Kodak moment.
