As of Thursday the 17th the last of the LSRC Alco's, 1280, was scrapped bringing the end of a era to Michigan. Here two of the last 3 M420's and one of the four C425's sits outside the shops in Saginaw. There is some hope though as one Alco has been saved, the 469, it is said to be going to a museum to be preserved.
