Remarks & Notes
Three-cylinder oil fired Pacific No 012 100-4 (formerly 01 1100) accelerates away from Aschendorf with the 12.22 Leer to Munster personen zug after a brief hail storm. This engine stood derelict in a scrapyard for some years before being purchased back by DB to take centre place in the celebration of 150 years of railways in Germany during 1985.
