Remarks & Notes
CNR 4-8-4, 6218 is southbound on Central Vermont rails. The deadheading Northern encounters the cold and overcast typical of early spring in the Coonecticut River Valley. The destination is New London, Connecticut, end of the CV. The next day 6218 will be mated with CN coaches, already in place, to head up an excursion to Brattleboro, Vermont returning to New London in the evening.
