Side Trip - The WSOR HOK makes it's daily side trip out the Markesan Branch. The rail may look light, but this line is no sleepy rut. Frozen Food, Can goods, 2 farmers co-op's, 2 big frac sand producers with a third coming next year, tax the WSOR's infrastructure to the max. Some days this (very scenic) 10 mile long branch can absorb and produce 50+ cars, with more business coming online.
