On a quiet Sunday afternoon, a Utah Transit Authority light rail station is under construction at Pioneer Road crossing in the city of Draper. On June 26, 1982, Union Pacific 3985 steamed its way through this same right of way, setting 72 fires between Salt Lake City and Provo (she was a coal burner back then).
