| As the sun begins to rise over the Perdue Farms feed mill, CSXT 656 awaits an Engineer to perform a power assist. Perdue Farms' Candor Mill has been working on a few upgrades. The list of improvements include an 35 car extension to track 1, and additional pit on track 1 for unloading 2 cars simultaneously, and a new very large silo. In this picture you will notice there is no conveyors running to the large silo as of yet. The additions will allow the mill to take 90 car units. Upgrades are scheduled for completion by the first of the year. |
