Pere Marquette #1225 leads a hot shot early morning westbound freight just before sunrise under a dramatic Michigan sky. Taken nearly four years back, this is one engine and a fine crew that I miss as if it had been some sixty years since. A pan at 1/15th rounds off shot number 1,000 for me on RP. Special thanks to Lerro Productions, Historic Transport Preservation, and SRI for making such shots possible.
An ongoing/growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome, but seldom seen beauty of railroads because most of us don't go out after sundown or before sunrise. From dusk to dawn, lights are on! (And I continue to find new "Lights In The Night"!)
