| A different perspective at a familiar location.. While a few tourists take in the sights of the New River Gorge, a westbound empty snakes through Hawks Nest enroute to the coalfields of Southern West Virginia. The overlook is part of the Hawks Nest State Park, which offers numerous breathtaking views of the New River Gorge and the C&O line that runs through it. |
