built by Baldwin in 1925, teams with No.491, a class K-37,
to take five tank cars, three cars of lumber and seven box
cars to the top of Cumbres Pass.
Either a freight train being helped over a steep grade or a long passenger or freight train requiring more engines. This album includes Helpers and double heading trains of the old days both steam and diesel.
