Former New Haven RS-3 #529 waits forlornly in the snow for something to do. Once-great Maybrook Yard is still an interchange point, but worse days are to come. Rumors of a bypass route around the congestion of northeastern New Jersey, using the Lehigh & Hudson River and New York Central Wallkill Valley lines, gave some hope of a Maybrook revival. Unfortunately, the routes were largely ripped up instead.
