After snow showers moved over the West Slope earlier in the day, the skies are beginning to clear, leaving behind a low valley fog in Altoona. The manned Alto Tower stands tall, with an operator still guiding trains through the busy interlocking, west of the Altoona Yard and NS shops. New signals are already in place at Alto, evident that the operators days are limited. Progress...
