With a wet snow falling, leaving behind a light dusting, an eastbound manifest passes Alto Tower, one of the last remaining interlocking towers on the Norfolk Southern system. New signals are installed and in the upcoming months, the tower operators job will be abolished and another piece of Pennsylvanian railroading will be in the books.
