Don't let that clean nose fool you - Union Pacific 8310 is seven years old and kind of grubby, but the nose was recently repainted as part of an upgrade (which also included new grilles on the left side of the unit, too). This power, laying over on the wye in Anaheim, California, after arriving on train LOQ25 25, consists of SD70ACe 8310, SD60M 2415, SD59M-2 9908, SD60M 2299 and SD70ACe 8317. The train departed West Colton Yard on February 25th at 10:57 PM, and arrived in Anaheim on February 26th at 2:25 AM. This power was then assigned to train LOA44 27, which departed Anaheim at 8:56 AM on February 27, 2012.
