Remarks & Notes

A westbound manifest paints the scene with light, as it rolls through Afton Canyon along Union Pacific's Cima Subdivision. The bridges in the foreground are one set of three different spans that cross the Mojave River as the tracks wind their way through the canyon. A second set are barely visible where the train disappeared around the distant hill exiting the scene.
