The 263rd train of 2011 from Peabody Coal's El Segundo Mine to Arizona Public Service's Cholla Power Plant in Joseph City, AZ is about to enter the BNSF Gallup Sub after its 34 mile journey down the Lee Ranch Sub 12/18/11. This train had 6 units in the consist in a 3x3 DP configuration. 5 of the 6 units were ES44C4's, with 3 of those seen here on the point (BNSF 6830, BNSF 6611 and BNSF 6602). Standing out from the red cliffs in the background is Tri State Electric's Plains Electric Generating Station, which is served by Western Fuel's Escalante and Western Railway with coal trains from Peabody Coal's Lee Ranch Mine.
