Ethanol trains from the Midwest generally yield some unique power during their eastward commute across CSX rails and this late evening CSX K447 was no exception. Led by ICE 6434, CITX 3053, and SOO 6061, K447 idles at 'RJ Cabin', just west of the Russell Terminal awaiting a signal into the yard. The power will be removed, serviced, and returned west toward Columbus on a manifest.
This is dedicated (with permission) to the skilled and gifted photographer - Chase Gunnoe - who regularly posts and is on staff with RP. I believe he deserves a gallery showcasing his remarkable photos. This is for you Chase! (More great photos to come!)
