With only a few hours to railfan around Lubbock, I made it a point to find and shoot the West Lubbock & Texas. When I achieved that, I moved over to the BNSF where I would spend the rest of the afternoon. While repositioning after getting a southbound, I ran into the third railroad that serves Lubbock, the Plainsman Switching Company. Here, ex-NS GP15-1 #403 shoves a cut of cars back into what looked like the main yard of the sprawling railroad while a BNSF manifest prepares to head south out of town.
