Lonesome night at Prince.. Deep in the New River Gorge valley below, the silence is broken by a westbound coal train charging through the abandoned coal community outside of Beckley. The C&O Prince Station, an architecturally advanced structure for its time serves as a manned station for Amtrak's tri-weekly Cardinal.
