Remarks & Notes

The stark branches of the hillside trees still await Spring's buds and there's still a chill in the air in the Worth Valley, but last year's heather adds a dash of colour to the scene. The railway's BR Standard 2-6-4 tank strides purposefully towards Oxenhope leaving a fine exhaust hanging behind her.
