A 532 coal drag enters Hornell at CP CASS. These trains used to run on the WNYP from Meadville, PA to Hornell, NY, which is the line that swings off to the left. NS has eliminated the Meadville crew pool and the trains now run from Conway, PA to Buffalo, NY via Ashtabula, OH, and then down the Southern Tier Line. The 532 & 533 trains are the only coal & hopper trains left on the Tier, and they run to Bow, NH. All power plants along the Southern Tier that once recieved coal are either shut down or converted to gas.
