| If I had to choose one place to spend a day on UP's Limon Sub, it would probably be Cedar Point. The curves in the track offer good views of eastbounds and westbounds for the first half of the day. The grade is like a roller coaster, with a 1.1% climb for eastbounds and a 1.3% climb for westbounds. The "peak" being right at Cedar Point. Here, an eastbound coal load is pulling hard up the 1.1% grade past the west siding switch. |
