| The workhorses of the CTRR rest in the shops after after another day serving the Sappi Paper plant. First up from right to left is the ex-D&NE #35 SW1000, the big power, built in 1967, the CTRR #33 SW1 (ex EJ&E) sits in the middle stall built in 10/1941 and CTRR #31 SW1 ex EJ&E holding the first slot and was built in 11/1941 also. The build dates and serial numbers of the 31 and 33 are so close as the 33 was going out the door the 31 was coming in the other end at the shops at EMD back in 1941. |
