The intermediates at Brooks have just kicked on, indicating a westbound has passed the next eastern Control Point at 'CW Cabin', to the west of Hinton. Painting a vibrant red and yellow glow from their stop and approach indications onto the surrounding scenery and rock face, a star filled sky dances overhead during a New Moon. Soon after, a westbound would approach enroute to Russell.
This is dedicated (with permission) to the skilled and gifted photographer - Chase Gunnoe - who regularly posts and is on staff with RP. I believe he deserves a gallery showcasing his remarkable photos. This is for you Chase! (More great photos to come!)
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
