Remarks & Notes
After the Deseret Power Ry finished painting 3 of their 4 E60’s they did not paint their 4th operational E60 due to costs. For a few weeks they ran the 3 newly painted units as a set. Then reduced coal demand at the Bonanza Power Plant caused them to cut back on the number of trains they run every week and then for reasons not known to me they stopped using newly painted E60 #DPR-2 and replaced it with DPR#3 which is still in its NdeM scheme. So, here is an eastbound Deseret Power Ry. empty train going upgrade between MP 31 and 32 headed back to the Deserado mine for a refill led by all 3 of the railroad’s freshly painted and lettered units. The opportunity to catch this set of 3 did not last long.
