| A private excursion on the CTA came to a quick stop when car 2279 picked the frog of the northbound main switch leading into the 14th Street Middle Track. Firefighters are still on the scene making sure the people in the last car were able to get off safely. This shot was taken standing on the tracks just south of the Roosevelt Road Green / Orange line stop. CTA was nice enough to give us another excursion in the near future with these 2200 series cars which are currently being retired as the new 5000s arrive. |
