Harper's Ferry, WV 5/16/2012 - C40-8 7557 and its SD-70 companion is kicking up a lot of dust as Q-249 and a long string of empty autoracks passes the historic Harper's Ferry depot on the CSX Cumberland Subdivision. Over the last several months, C-40-8's have often been the motive power of choice for the afternoon pair of autorack trains that head for Cumberland each day, Q-217 and Q-249, usually running within an hour of each other.
