Remarks & Notes

On October 19, 1985, a DW&P transfer bound for C&NW’s Itasca Yard passes through Saunders, Wisconsin. The train is powered by two freshly-painted ex-Rock Island GP38-2s. Overhead is a BN taconite ore train headed for the docks at Allouez on Lake Superior.
