"Ride across the river, deep and wide" Even at 90 mph, it takes a few moments before an Amtrak Acela can cross over four thousand, one hundred and fifty three feet of bridge. Built by the PRR in 1906, it replaced predecessor P.W. & B.'s Railroad Bridge (1866) whose piers can be seen to the right.
