Remarks & Notes
After waiting patiently for the rising sun to reach the tracks, Friends of the Rail's class 24 # 3664 performs the first runby of the day on a beautifully cold and clear winter morning with a typical branch line mixed consist of one empty goods wagon and two swing-door passenger coaches in authentic SAR red and grey livery. The Cullinan Diamond Mine can be seen in the right background.
