Remarks & Notes

An unidentified Class 24 draws her goods train across the bridge, situated at the mouth of the Kaaimans River. Regular steam operations on the South African Railways had ended in 1991, but this line had been declared a museum line and steam traction was maintained. Sadly, the line was closed in 2006 following a large landslide at this location.
