| Build in the fifties for high-qualitytrains such as TEE, in the nineties just good enough for heavy freight. That is in an nutshell the life of the 58 CC7100's from SNCF. Also remarkable is that none of the CC7100's ever had another colourscheme than the original colourscheme from the fifties. Here CC7125 with a heavy freight on the right bank of the Rhone direction south. This type was built at Alsthom (currently Alstom) and was also sold to other countries, such as Netherlands, (NS 1300), Spain (RENFE 372) and even Russia (SZD T). |
