The Waterloo, IA, to Kirk Yard, IL, manifest train is pulling in the siding at Beth to meet its counterpart M337. Beth siding is located 35 miles east of Waterloo. The track they are on once was original mainline, but the IC went thru in the 60's and cut the grade down and made the main the siding and the lesser grade track the main. That why the tracks are so different here.
