| Amtrak operated a special Geometry Car Train on Monday, July 30, to inspect the Pan Am Southern Knowledge Corridor between Springfield and East Northfield, MA and on the New England Central Vermonter route between East Northfield and St. Albans. The train operated with P42-9DC 94 leading an Amfleet coach and Track Geometry Car #10002. Train is seen crossing the Sugar River Trestle with Amtrak President Joe Boardman aboard the trip. |
