Passing through it's namesake town, UP's Sandy Local returns to North Yard with four cars from IFA in Draper. This landscape has changed drastically since 1986. UTA's double track 'Blue Line' light rail route (opened in 1999) runs through Sandy today with a park bordering the right of way. Sadly, the old UP station sign was stollen from the park several years ago.
