| In the 1980's The Railway Society of Southern Africa operated numerous steam-hauled charters around South Africa. The "Four Provinces" was one such tour, seen here in early morning light on the climb from Zeerust to Buffelshoek, after an overnight run from Johannesburg behind a class GMAM 4-8-2 + 2-8-4 garratt. |
