Fresh NECR GP38s? Not quite, but pretty close! NECR train 324 heads south across the Connecticut River at Cornish, New Hampshire with the NECR (ex-CORP) GP40 4001 leading NECR (ex-FEC) GP40-3 437, NECR GP38 3850 and the NECR GP38 3857 up front. The blue/gold pair have had their paint touched up, cab doors painted, trucks, fuel tanks and underframes repainted and been groomed for a couple high-profile office car special trips this week on the NECR. Watch for more photos with those trips later in the week. Full details have been covered in Eastern Railroad News (http://www.easternrailroadnews.com/daily-news/)
