Remarks & Notes
To advertise Chicago and North Western’s fast priority piggyback trains called “Falcons,” they painted up a pair of locomotives with “Falcon Service” locos on the long hood. Only SD40-2s Nos. 6910 and 6922 received the treatment. Here is No. 6910 on the point of a westbound train at Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, in June 1984.

Pictures of things often unseen in the world of railroading. Interesting equipment, operations, and people that help the railroad go around.
