Remarks & Notes

After re-railing over a dozen loaded coal hoppers earlier in the day, CSX and contracting crews continue to repair the track and right of way. At this point, crews have been on scene for over 12 hours cleaning up the derailment, which occurred as a result of a broken rail. For a photo of this scene from earlier in the day, click HERE.
