Remarks & Notes
In the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy, ethanol trains that had been normally routed to New Jersey on CSX have been detoured to a CP/VRS/NECR/P&W routing via the Green Mountain Gateway. On Veteran's Day, CP train 644-607 is rolling along Lake Champlain with a pair of former Soo Line SD60s decked out in CP paint ahead of an ICE and CP SD40-2. CP 6234, CP 6243, ICE 6426 and CP 6018 ease down the mainline at Ticonderoga, NY with Fort Ticonderoga visible in the distance on Lake Champlain.
