Remarks & Notes
The famous P-811 TLM (track laying machine) in full operation laying the first concrete ties prior to the overhead wire installation. The TLM was part of a long string of machines doing everything from removing old ties to gauging and grading the finished track. P-811 was recently rebuilt by an Amtrak track Crew and should be good for another 20 years TL-ing. Photo courtesy of Ted Moxham.
