Three of Transnet Freight Rail's newest diesel locomotives, the Class 43 (GE C30-ACi), team up to move a block load of empty type CR ore wagons, seen here at Skansdam junction, joining the Germiston - Vereeniging line from the Sentrarand line. The first 10 units of this class were built in the USA (see photo ID 349791). The remaining 90 units are being built by Transnet Rail Engineering (TRE) at their Koedoespoort works in Pretoria.
